More proof of love at first sight, and recent purchases...

Marc by Marc Jacobs Bow Pendant Watch - £150

Even with the current amazing exchange rate, no matter how many times I tell myself "I need a new watch..." I absolutely cannot justify spending $270AU on a pretty watch necklace. Especially after spending MORE money this week....

Here's what I bought:
Ksubi Grease Black Skinny Jeans

Betsey Johnson 'Chez Rose' Bikini

Agent Provocateur 'Allie' Bikini top

Even though jeans aren't the best choice when summer is just around the corner, I really loved these jeans and couldn't resist! Plus I bought some new bikinis which evens things out. Yay summer! I can't wait :)

As for the Bow Pendant, my fingers are crossed that Diva comes out with a cute knock-off...

Proof that love at first sight exists.

Romance was Born bikini

Anyone know where I can find this baby??

EDIT:
I found it at Incu in my size, while the bottoms are amazingly adorable and I heart them, the top was huge and unflattering on my little bust :( and $260-something is toooo much to pay for a pair of cute bottoms and an ill-fitting top. Sob!

RANT: Parisian Ballets

My sister decided, after reading a spread in Vogue and looking on their website, that she would buy a couple of pairs of ballet flats from Parisian Ballets..

After corresponding directly with the woman who owns the company, Serena Quinn, she decided on two pairs from their "Current" section - the "Pale Pink", and "Deer Creek" in cream. She was assured that they would be made specifically to her requirements, and that they were 100% leather.

She recieved them yesterday. Not only are they the worst quality we have ever seen (you can see the glue work on the inside and outside), one pair is the wrong colour (she sent pale pink in the "Deer Creek" instead of cream), but they are 100% PLASTIC masquerading as leather. Her website clearly states they are leather, but these are hard, stinky plastic shoes.

Dodgy "Leather"

Poor inner construction

Wrong colour!

For $155 and $135 each, it is just not fair that women are being duped into paying this much money for bad quality plastic shoes. They are similar to the quality you would expect from Rubi Shoes - only that you pay about $20 for Rubi Shoes, not $155!

Anyway, she sent an email to Serena Quinn explaining her disappointment and disgust, asking for a refund. So far there has been no response.

We will keep you updated on what happens!

LUC ESPACE Review!

Wow!
Okay so, I briefly mentioned in one of my recent posts that I've been in the process of going blonde! And I promised I'd do a review of the salon which I go to, Luc Espace.

So, Luc Espace is the "sister" salon to PReMA, which also used to be called Luc Espace but recently changed it's name. It's located in Chatswood, and like PReMA, the front of the salon is easily recognisable for its earthy, elemental feel.

As per usual, I am ushered inside straight away where I'm given a black robe and my jacket and bag are put into a cupboard. I was told this time, my 3rd visit and final full head of foils, that I would be receiving a complimentary Detox for my hair, so I was taken to the sinks where Aaron and Peter proceeded to scrub and clean my hair, then wrapping it in clingfilm and putting it under heat for 5 minutes.

After this, my hair is quite matted and knotty, so they condition it then brush it out, which takes a fair amount of time, effort, and jokes! I have so so much hair, I'm used to it getting messy after a wash!

My colourist, Michelle, then sits and chats with me about what I want. I explain that I just want to brighten my hair some more, but I'm quite happy with the colour. So she explains that she'll put more of the same coloured foils in as last time, but focus on brightening the ends rather than the roots as I prefer to have the roots slightly darker so they integrate with my regrowth a bit better.

The foiling process takes an absolute age, and I constantly hear "wow you have SO much hair!" from Michelle! It takes nearly 40 minutes to get the full head, maybe a bit more, then I'm left waiting for 30 minutes before my hair is rinsed, conditioned, brushed (again!) and blowdried.

When I got home my sister insisted on curling my hair with my new GHD:
This is the most accurate representation of the colour at the moment. The bottom photo was taken the day after, I washed it and let it dry in a plait, it's still a bit damp here:

Anyway I hope you enjoyed my post! I absolutely LOVE the Luc Espace team, and I love how my hair looks and feels after I visit them!

I'm booked in for a quarter head of foils in December, but I can't decide whether or not I should go lighter.....Suggestions??

Also - I've put a few things on eBay recently, it would mean a lot if you'd take a look! Thanks :)
