birthday girl

I'm pretty bad at this. I have a tendancy to get super-excited about a project, start it, then let it die slowly.

But not this time!
It's even one of my new years resolutions (pfff) to try and get this thing off the ground....it's February. Go figure.
Other resolutions include:

• Open an eBay store - lord knows I need to, if anyone followed my old blog pre-makeover they'd remember all the stuff that I'd buy (and subsequently never wear).
  
  
• Try to be more organised - That includes organising this blog. I've taken this semester (possibly year) off uni to try and get myself better organised!
  
  
• Exercise more - yeah, whatever.
  
  
• SHOP LESS, SAVE MORE.
  
  

Which brings me to the reason for this post.
It is currently 12:54am on the 14th of Feb, which means it is also my birthday.
So, I have used this as an excuse to buy some shit. A really awesome excuse, and also reason why this current resolution has not technically been broken yet (are you guys buying this shit??)

Anyway, yeah:

I already own a pair of these tights, but they've nearly taken a shit and died, so I thought I'd restock. I love them to pieces, they are definitely my favouritest tights ever!

I really love Sonia by Sonia Rykiel's designs because they're so fun and playful and cutesy, but of course I've never been able to afford the pricetag. This top was on sale, and they only had large sizes left (I'm a 6-8) but I bought a Large anyway because I want to roll the sleeves up and wear it kinda slouchy.

You can never have too many pairs of socks.

I wanted to give this trend a try, but wasn't willing to pay full price for it. I like the style of these, and since that model is probably around 6ft tall (and I am certainly not) they hopefully won't be as "cropped" on me.

I've been looking for a gorgeous matte bright orange lipstick for an eternity, and this was on sale with a gloss thrown in free. I looked up the shade (Mandarino) and found a lovely makeup blog showcasing the colour, which looked gorgeous on her. So I had to have it.

I am a coat person. Winter is my season, my time to shine. I own about 10 different coats, all of them adorable in their own way. When I saw this (on 50% off) I knew I had to add it to my menagerie. I melt. I swoon.

Like with socks, you can never have too many belts. Especially heart belts.

Anyway, because I am awesome and know how to shop discounts (and also google my fingers off finding discount codes), this delicious bounty only set me back £160. That's $256AU, or roughly $36AU for each item.

Yes, Happy Birthday to me indeed.
